Renlit Terms of Service

The Essentials

Effective Date: January 15, 2025

The Terms of Service (ToS) is the legal contract between you and Renlit. It covers the technical and financial rules of using our platform. Here is the plain English version of what you are agreeing to.

The Essentials
👥 1. Who Can Join?
16+ Age Limit (16+): You must be at least 16 years old to use Renlit. If you are under 16, you cannot create an account.
🔞 Adult Features (18+): You must be 18+ to sell items, get verified, or earn money on the platform.
💳 Parents Pay the Bill: If you allow your teenager (16-17) to use your credit card, you are responsible for their spending. We do not refund purchases just because "my kid used my card without asking."
📧 Real Emails Only: We do not allow "burner" or disposable email addresses. You must use a reputable email provider (like Gmail, Outlook, or iCloud) to sign up.
💰 2. Money & Refunds
🚫 No Refunds: Subscriptions and purchases are non-refundable. Generally, all sales are final unless the law explicitly requires a refund.
The "Chargeback" Ban: If you buy something and then call your bank to falsely claim it was fraud (to get your money back while keeping the item), this is called "Friendly Fraud." We will permanently ban your account and your payment method immediately.
⚠️ Marketplace Risk: Renlit is the venue, not the seller. When you buy from a Merchant, you are dealing with them directly. We help with disputes, but we do not guarantee the goods.
©️ 3. Your Content Rights
You Own Your Work: You keep the copyright to everything you post. You do not lose ownership just by uploading it here.
📄 Our License: By posting, you give Renlit permission (a "license") to display, host, and promote your content on the app. We need this permission just to show your posts to other people.
🛡️ Copyright Protection: We respect creators. If someone steals your work and reposts it here, you can file a DMCA Takedown Notice, and we will remove the infringing content.
🚧 4. The "Beta" Warning
🧪 Soft Launch: Renlit is currently in "Beta" (Soft Launch). This means you might see bugs, glitches, or occasional downtime. By using the app now, you accept that it might not be perfect yet.
🛠️ Use at Your Own Risk: We are not liable if a glitch causes a post to fail or a message to be delayed.
🔒 5. Account Safety & Termination
🔑 Keep it Secure: You are responsible for keeping your password safe. If someone hacks you because you used a weak password, we cannot always fix it.
🔨 We Can Ban You: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates our rules, harasses others, or threatens our staff.
Inactive Wallets: If you have money in your Renlit Wallet but don't log in for 2 years, that balance may expire.
⚖️ 6. Legal Disputes
📜 Arbitration Only: If we have a serious legal disagreement, you agree to resolve it through Arbitration (a private judge) rather than a public lawsuit. You also agree not to join a "Class Action" lawsuit against us.
⏲️ 30-Day Appeal Window: If you disagree with a ban or moderation decision, you must appeal within 30 days. After that, the decision is final.

Transparency Note: The "Essentials" provided above act as a simplified summary for quick reference. For the complete, legally binding standards and detailed policy definitions, please refer to the "Official Terms of Service" section below.

OFFICIAL TERMS OF SERVICE (ToS)

This document constitutes the Terms of Service ("Terms") for Renlit (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms represent a legally binding agreement between you, the user, and Renlit Creationfest, governing all access to and utilization of the Platform, encompassing associated websites, mobile applications, functionalities, and services.

Fundamental Agreement:
By accessing the Platform, registering an account, or clicking "I Agree" (or similar acceptance button) where this option is made available, you explicitly affirm your acceptance of these Terms and all policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

SECTION 1. Eligibility and Account Registration

1.1 Eligibility: To ensure compliance with global data protection laws (including GDPR and COPPA) and to maintain a professional environment suitable for career growth and commerce, access to the Platform is restricted by age.
a. Global Minimum Age (16+): To access or use the Platform, you must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Individuals under the age of 16 are strictly prohibited from creating an account or using the Services.
b. Verification & Monetization Restriction (18+): Notwithstanding the above, specific features including but not limited to Identity Verification, Expert Status, Political Verification, and Monetization/Marketplace Selling are strictly restricted to users who have attained the age of eighteen (18) years.
c. Financial & Supervisory Responsibility for Authorized Minors (16–17): For users between the ages of 16 and 18, the parent or legal guardian assumes full financial, legal, and supervisory responsibility. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for monitoring your child's internet usage, content consumption, and interactions on the Platform. Furthermore, you accept full liability for any financial transactions executed by the minor using your payment instruments (e.g., credit/debit cards), regardless of whether such use was explicitly consented to by you or performed without your permission. Renlit treats all actions by an authorized minor as actions authorized by the Guardian.
d. Unauthorized Access (Children Under 16): Access by individuals under the age of 16 is strictly prohibited. However, if a child under 16 bypasses these restrictions (e.g., by misrepresenting their age), the parent or guardian assumes full legal and financial responsibility for the child's actions. Renlit disclaims all liability for refunds, legal consequences, or content exposure resulting from a guardian's failure to monitor their child's online activity or secure their financial instruments.
e. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes: Falsely initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a transaction made by a minor in your household (whether the minor was authorized (16-17) or unauthorized (<16)) will be classified as "Friendly Fraud." Such actions will result in the immediate and permanent suspension of the account and a ban on the associated payment method. Furthermore, Renlit reserves the right to pursue formal legal action to recover all monetary damages, including the disputed amount, banking fees, and legal costs incurred.
1.2 Account Security: The user bears sole and complete responsibility for preserving the confidentiality and integrity of the account password and for safeguarding all credentials utilized for access. Furthermore, the user is wholly accountable for all activities, whether authorized or unauthorized, conducted thereunder. Users are strictly obligated to notify the Platform immediately upon becoming aware of any actual or suspected unauthorized access, compromise, or misappropriation of their account credentials. Failure to provide such timely notification may result in the user being held responsible for losses incurred by the Platform or other users.
1.3 Accurate Information: Users shall ensure that all identification, contact, and financial information furnished during the initial registration procedure is verifiably accurate, current, and complete. This obligation extends to maintaining the currency and completeness of such information throughout the entire duration of Platform utilization and their contractual relationship with Renlit Creationfest. Inaccurate information may lead to the suspension or termination of account privileges, especially concerning monetization and verification processes.
1.4 Email Verification Requirements: To ensure the safety of our community and facilitate swift cooperation with law enforcement in cases of severe criminal activity (e.g., child exploitation, human trafficking, fraud), Renlit restricts account registration to email service providers that demonstrate a verified history of compliance with lawful data requests and subpoenas.
a. Supported Providers: We generally accept major, regulated providers (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, iCloud) that have established legal compliance frameworks.
b. Restricted Providers: We prohibit the use of disposable email services, temporary inboxes, and certain encrypted email providers that do not maintain sufficient "Know Your Customer" (KYC) or legal compliance protocols to assist in criminal investigations.
c. Enforcement: Registration attempts using unsupported domains will be blocked. Attempting to bypass this security measure (e.g., via aliasing) is a violation of these Terms.

SECTION 2. Platform Access and License

2.1 Limited License: Subject to the user's full and ongoing compliance with all provisions set forth in these Terms, Renlit Creationfest hereby grants the user a restricted, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and fully revocable license. This license permits the user to access and employ the Platform solely for their designated personal, non-commercial purposes, strictly in the manner intended by the Platform's design and functionality.
2.2 Reservation of Rights: All rights, titles, and interests not explicitly conferred upon the user within the framework of these Terms are explicitly and comprehensively reserved by the Platform and its licensors. This proprietary reservation encompasses, but is not limited to, the entirety of the Platform's source code, object code, design, underlying algorithms, the structure of its data, its compilation, its "look and feel," its underlying content (excluding User Content), and all attendant intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
2.3 Third-Party Services: The efficient and necessary operation of the Platform often necessitates the deployment of services and infrastructure rendered by various independent Third-Party Providers (as further elucidated in Section 16). These services may include, but are not limited to, cloud hosting, content delivery networks, data storage, and processing utilities. Consequently, the user’s experience, functionality, and data handling on the Platform are inherently subject to the corresponding technical, privacy, and commercial stipulations and conditions set forth by these independent Third-Party Providers.
2.4 Soft Launch / Beta Disclaimer: The Service is currently in a "Soft Launch" or "Beta" phase. You acknowledge that the platform may contain bugs, errors, and may experience downtime. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features without notice. Renlit is not liable for any data loss or service interruption during this phase.

SECTION 3. User Content and License Grant

3.1 Responsibility for Content: The user remains solely and entirely accountable for the nature, legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of all User Content created, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or linked to within the Platform environment. The user formally represents and explicitly warrants that all such User Content does not, and will not, infringe upon the intellectual property rights (including copyright, trademark, and patent rights) or any other proprietary rights of any third party. Furthermore, the user warrants that the content fully complies with all governing local, national, and international statutes, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
3.2 Ownership and Control: Notwithstanding the licenses granted herein to the Platform, the user expressly retains all proprietary ownership rights, including copyright and any moral rights, pertaining to their respective User Content, subject only to any pre-existing third-party rights incorporated into the content. The submission of User Content does not constitute a transfer of ownership to Renlit Creationfest or any other user.
3.3 License Grant to Renlit:
a. Core License: By submitting or posting User Content, the user confers upon Renlit Creationfest a comprehensive, non-exclusive, fully paid-up, royalty-free, global, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, cache, store, utilize, modify, adapt, reproduce, publicly display, transmit, publish, and distribute said content strictly for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform.
b. Termination of License: This license shall terminate within a commercially reasonable timeframe after you remove or delete your User Content from the Platform, except regarding:

i. Content that has been shared with others (e.g., reposts) and which they have not deleted.

ii. Content retained in backup systems for a limited period for security and legal compliance.

iii. Content used in promotional materials released prior to deletion.

3.4 License Grant to Other Users (Limited Scope): Furthermore, the user grants to other authorized Platform users a non-exclusive, circumscribed, and revocable license to solely access, view, share, repost, or link to said User Content, strictly in alignment with the Platform's publicly available functionality and the stipulations of these Terms. This license permits ordinary social sharing functions inherent to the Platform.
3.5 Restrictions on Other Users: The limited license granted to other users in Section 3.4 explicitly does not confer the right to reproduce, publicly perform, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, or create derivative works from another user’s User Content without the explicit, separate, and prior written permission from the original content owner. Any such unauthorized use constitutes an infringement of the original user's rights.

SECTION 4. Acceptable Use and Community Guidelines

4.1 Compliance: Users are strictly mandated to comply with all applicable local, regional, national, and international laws, ordinances, and statutory regulations relevant to the utilization of the Platform. This obligation includes adherence to laws concerning online conduct, acceptable content, data privacy, and the transmission of technical data exported from the jurisdiction of the user's residence.
4.2 Prohibited Conduct: Users shall stringently refrain from engaging in any proscribed activity. Prohibited conduct explicitly includes, but is not restricted to:
a. The infringement of others’ intellectual property or privacy rights.
b. The submission, display, or distribution of illegal material (including, but not limited to, Child Sexual Abuse Material/Child Pornography).
c. Engagement in acts of targeted harassment, bullying, or the expression of hate speech directed at individuals or groups.
d. The deliberate introduction of detrimental viruses, trojans, or malicious code designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functionality of the Platform.
e. The use of the Platform to facilitate unauthorized commercial or criminal activities.
Platform utilization is explicitly and unconditionally subject to the comprehensive Community Guidelines (which are hereby incorporated by reference and form an integral part of this agreement).

SECTION 5. Payment and Monetization

5.1 Paid Services: Specific advanced services, premium content access, or enhanced features offered by the Platform are designated as Paid Services and require the remittance of applicable payment ("Paid Services"). The user covenants to fulfill all stipulated financial obligations associated with the procurement of such services in accordance with the payment terms provided at the time of purchase.
5.2 Pricing: The established prices and fee structures for Paid Services are subject to modification and revision at the Platform's sole discretion, without prior individualized notification. However, any such price adjustment shall not be applied retrospectively to services or subscriptions already procured and paid for by the user prior to the implementation date of the change.
5.3 Third-Party Payment Processor: All fiscal transactions, encompassing payments for Paid Services and disbursements of user revenue, are processed exclusively through authorized and secured external Third-Party Providers (e.g., dedicated payment processors). Renlit Creationfest disclaims any and all direct responsibility or liability for processing errors, transaction delays, security compromises, or any other complications attributable to the operations or infrastructure of these independent third-party processors.
5.4 Refunds: All fees remitted for Paid Services are deemed unconditionally non-refundable, except only where explicitly stipulated within the terms of a specific promotion, the terms of a specific Paid Service, or as stringently mandated by prevailing statutory law applicable in the user's jurisdiction.
5.5 Taxes: The user assumes full and comprehensive liability for the calculation, remittance, and payment of all pertinent local, state, federal, and international taxes arising from or pertaining to the utilization or procurement of Paid Services or participation in any monetization program.
5.6 Monetization Eligibility: The ability to participate in any Platform revenue generation schemes (e.g., creator revenue sharing, marketplace transactions, premium content earnings) is perpetually contingent upon the user's satisfactory compliance with specific eligibility criteria and established policies. This includes, where deemed necessary, the successful submission of identity verification data as fully specified and outlined in the Platform’s Privacy Policy.
5.7 Verification Requirement: Entitlement to engage in financial transactions, encompassing both disbursements (payouts) and incoming payments, may necessitate the secure provision and validation of specific verification data. Failure by the user to furnish requisite, accurate, and valid verification data promptly shall result in the immediate imposition of restrictions upon the user’s ability to participate in monetization programs or receive funds.
5.8 Revenue Share: Any existing or future revenue sharing programs implemented are subject to substantial revision, modification, or termination at the sole discretion of the Platform. The Platform reserves the right to modify payout calculations, payment thresholds, and eligibility criteria upon providing the user with due and reasonable notice of such changes.
5.9 Disputes: All contentions, conflicts, or disagreements regarding payments, fees, or monetization activities should initially be directed through the formal communication channels specified in the contact information provided in Section 17 to allow for internal resolution prior to the initiation of external legal proceedings.
5.10 Currency: All transactions, financial calculations, and reported values shall be executed, denominated, and settled using the currency designated by the Platform at the precise point of purchase or disbursement, irrespective of the user's geographic location.
5.11 Fraudulent Transactions: The Platform reserves the unequivocal right to immediately investigate, void, cancel, or reverse any transaction or activity that is reasonably determined to be fraudulent, unauthorized, suspicious, or in violation of these Terms or applicable anti-money laundering regulations.
5.12 Marketplace Intermediary Status: Renlit provides the Platform strictly as an intermediate venue and technological facilitator for commercial activity and explicitly disclaims participation as a principal or contracting party in any transaction consummated between a buyer and a seller. Renlit is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items advertised, nor the truth or accuracy of listings.
a. Merchant Accountability: Verified Merchants are bound by the "Code of Conduct" and "One-Strike Liability" rules defined in the Community Guidelines. A violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension of selling privileges and forfeiture of unremitted funds, at Renlit's sole discretion, to cover potential refund liabilities or administrative costs.
b. Disclaimer: Negotiation, quality control, legality, shipment, and delivery logistics of all transactions are the sole exclusive liabilities of the specific users involved. You use the Marketplace at your own risk. Renlit shall bear no liability for failed bank transfers, undelivered goods, or disputes arising from user-to-user transactions.
5.13 Feature Parity and Access: You unequivocally acknowledge that access to specific advanced functionalities, features, and technical capacity of the Platform is perpetually contingent upon and determined by the user's affirmatively acquired subscription tier or the dedicated selection of corresponding Paid Services. Renlit Creationfest expressly disclaims any and all liability or responsibility for perceived or actual variations, disparities, or differences in accessible features, technical capacity, uptime, or platform functionality observed between users who possess differing subscription levels or utilize diverse versions of the Platform.
5.14 Virtual Items & Wallet Balance: If the Platform utilizes a virtual currency system ("Renlit Coins" or similar) or an internal wallet balance for tipping and monetization:
a. No Property Rights: Virtual Items or Wallet Balances are limited licenses to use a feature of the Platform. They do not constitute personal property, bank deposits, or real-world currency until successfully withdrawn to an external bank account via our authorized processors.
b. No Interest: Funds held in a Renlit Wallet do not accrue interest.
c. Abandonment: If an account is inactive for a statutory period (e.g., 24 months) or terminated for cause (e.g., fraud), Renlit reserves the right to expire or forfeit the wallet balance, subject to applicable laws.

SECTION 6. Platform Monitoring and Enforcement

6.1 Content Monitoring: The Platform reserves the unequivocal prerogative, though it shall not be construed as a binding legal obligation, to systematically review, monitor, and audit User Content, as well as monitor Platform access and behavior, specifically to ensure continuous adherence to these Terms, the Community Guidelines, and applicable legal standards. This monitoring may be conducted through automated and manual means.
6.2 Right to Remove: The Platform retains the absolute, unilateral right to remove, delete, or disable access to any User Content for any justified reason, including, but not limited to, content deemed, at our sole and necessary discretion, to be in explicit violation of these Terms, harmful or injurious to the integrity of the Platform, or damaging to its user base.
6.3 Administrative Safety Review: Renlit reserves the right to access all user content, including private messages, files, and paywalled/subscription-only posts, for the sole purpose of moderation, safety enforcement, and legal compliance. By using the platform, you grant Renlit a non-exclusive license to review this content to ensure it meets our Community Guidelines. This ensures that "private" or "paid" spaces are not used to harbor illegal activity or violate platform safety standards.

SECTION 7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 Disclaimer of Warranties: THE PLATFORM AND ALL OF ITS ASSOCIATED SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, ENTIRELY DEVOID OF ANY WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES, WHETHER EXPRESSED, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. WE EXPRESSLY AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SUITABILITY FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION OBTAINED, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, BY THE USER FROM THE PLATFORM OR THROUGH THE PLATFORM SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN.
7.2 No Responsibility for Third Parties: The Platform assumes no direct or derivative responsibility or liability for the actions, services, performance, non-performance, conduct, or content provided by any independent Third-Party Providers, third-party linked sites, or other Platform users.
7.3 Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW IN THE RELEVANT JURISDICTION, IN NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL RENLIT CREATIONFEST, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. THIS EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY ENCOMPASSES, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, IRRESPECTIVE OF THE LEGAL THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE), ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE UTILIZATION OR INABILITY TO UTILIZE THE PLATFORM.
7.4 Maximum Liability: NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISION TO THE CONTRARY HEREIN, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF RENLIT CREATIONFEST TO THE USER FOR ALL CLAIMS OF WHATEVER NATURE, SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL SUM REMITTED BY THE USER TO RENLIT CREATIONFEST FOR PAID SERVICES DURING THE SIX (6) MONTH PERIOD IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE OCCURRENCE GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD $100).

SECTION 8. Indemnification

8.1 Agreement to Indemnify: The user hereby agrees to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Renlit Creationfest, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenditures (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and defense costs) resulting from or in any way connected with:
a. The user’s access to or utilization of the Platform, including any data or content transmitted by the user.
b. The user’s contravention or violation of any material provision of these Terms or any incorporated policy.
c. Any third-party claim alleging that the user’s User Content infringes upon the intellectual property or proprietary rights of said third party.

SECTION 9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution (Arbitration)

9.1 Governing Law: During the initial "Soft Launch" (Beta) phase, the Platform is provided as-is. By utilizing the Platform during this phase, you explicitly agree that Renlit Creationfest is a digital-first entity in the process of formal incorporation. You hereby waive any right to file a lawsuit or legal claim against the Entity regarding jurisdiction or venue during this phase. Any dispute must be resolved via the mandatory arbitration process outlined below, and you agree to accept the decision of the arbitrator as final and binding, without recourse to external courts.
9.2 Binding Arbitration: Both the user and Renlit Creationfest mutually consent that any and all disputes, controversies, or legal claims arising from or related to these Terms or the utilization of the Platform shall be definitively and exclusively resolved through final and binding individual arbitration. Arbitration shall be conducted strictly on an individualized basis, and the user explicitly waives the right to initiate or participate in any purported class action lawsuit, class-wide arbitration, or representative proceeding against the Platform.
9.3 Time Frame for Appeals: Before initiating arbitration, any dispute regarding an internal moderation decision (e.g., account suspension, content removal, or verification revocation) must first be appealed via the Platform's official channels within thirty (30) calendar days of the enforcement action. Failure to appeal within this 30-day window constitutes a formal waiver of the right to contest the decision, rendering the moderation action final and binding.
9.4 Forum: The arbitration procedure shall be conducted by a single, neutral, and mutually acceptable arbitrator situated in the governing jurisdiction designated in Section 9.1, in accordance with the then-current rules of a recognized arbitration association.

SECTION 10. Termination and Suspension

10.1 Platform's Right to Terminate: The Platform reserves the absolute and unilateral right to immediately and without liability terminate or suspend the user’s account, license, and Platform access, without the requirement of prior notification, for any material cause, including, but not limited to, any breach of these Terms, extended periods of inactivity, or actions deemed detrimental to the safety or operation of the Platform.
10.2 Termination for Cause: We specifically reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately for a breach of the "Religious Content Policy" (Religious Preaching), "Verified Politics" (Political Misinformation/Noise), or "Coordinated Inauthentic Behavior" policies defined in our Community Guidelines.
10.3 Effect of Termination: Subsequent to termination, the user’s entitlement to utilize the Platform shall immediately and definitively cease. All provisions within these Terms which are inherently intended by their nature to endure the termination or expiration of this agreement (including, without limitation, provisions regarding proprietary ownership, continuing license grants, warranty disclaimers, indemnity obligations, and limitations of liability) shall persist indefinitely in full force and effect.

SECTION 11. Third-Party Links and Services

11.1 Platform Disclaims Responsibility: The Platform may, for the convenience of the user, contain hypertext links directing to external third-party websites, advertisements, or services that are neither owned, controlled, nor managed by Renlit Creationfest. We hereby explicitly assume no direct or indirect responsibility or liability for the content, security, privacy methodologies, operational practices, or any other aspect of any such third-party websites or services. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement or recommendation by the Platform.

SECTION 12. Warranty and Guarantee

12.1 No Guarantee of Platform Availability: The Platform does not formally warrant, guarantee, or represent that the service will operate without interruption, securely, or free of all technical errors or defects. Platform unavailability may occur due to necessary scheduled maintenance, essential system upgrades, or the occurrence of unpredictable Force Majeure Events (as defined comprehensively in Section 16).
12.2 User Reliance: Any reliance placed by the user upon the functionality of the Platform, its accessible services, or its informational content is undertaken strictly at the user’s own solitary risk and peril, and the user assumes all responsibility for any consequential loss or damage arising from such reliance.
12.3 User Autonomy and Service Nature: You acknowledge that the Platform utilizes standard interactive design features and automated algorithms to facilitate content discovery. You explicitly agree that:
a. Voluntary Participation: Your engagement with the Platform is an exercise of your personal autonomy. You bear the sole responsibility for managing your time, attention span, and usage habits.
b. Scope of Service: Renlit is provided strictly for entertainment, social connection, and professional networking. It is not designed to provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic services.
c. Usage Responsibility: You acknowledge that you possess the tools to manage your experience (including the ability to log out, delete the application, or terminate your account). Consequently, you agree that Renlit is not liable for your personal scheduling choices, lifestyle habits, or the cumulative impact of your voluntary engagement with the Service.

SECTION 13. General Provisions

13.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms, in conjunction with any documentation expressly incorporated herein by reference (including the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines), collectively constitute the complete, final, and exclusive agreement between the user and Renlit Creationfest, thereby superseding and nullifying all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
13.2 Severability: Should any provision of these Terms be formally determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, invalid, or otherwise legally unenforceable, that specific provision shall be deemed modified or fully eliminated only to the absolute minimum extent necessary. This action shall be taken to ensure that the remainder of these Terms retains its full legal force and effect and remains enforceable against the parties.
13.3 No Waiver: No instance of failure or delay by the Platform to exercise, or delay in exercising, any right, power, or remedy conferred by these Terms shall be construed as a waiver of that or any other right, power, or remedy. Furthermore, no single or partial exercise of any right or remedy conferred hereunder shall preclude any subsequent or further exercise thereof or the exercise of any other applicable right or remedy.
13.4 User Comprehension: By virtue of accessing or otherwise utilizing the Platform, the user unequivocally affirms and warrants their full comprehension and acceptance of the totality of these Terms and all policies incorporated herein by reference (including the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines), irrespective of whether external legal or linguistic assistance was utilized for interpretation. Continued utilization of the Platform subsequent to the Effective Date shall constitute explicit and unreserved acceptance of this entire agreement and its binding nature.

SECTION 14. Updates to These Terms

14.1 Right to Revise: The Platform reserves the unilateral and perpetual right to periodically revise, amend, and update these Terms at any time to accommodate evolving legal, regulatory, or operational developments.
14.2 Notice of Changes: In the event of material revisions that substantially alter user rights or obligations, the Platform shall notify users by amending the "Effective Date" at the commencement of these Terms and may, where appropriate and feasible, issue supplemental notice (such as an announcement conspicuously placed on the Platform or transmitted via electronic mail). Continued utilization of the Platform subsequent to the implementation of such updates shall constitute conclusive and binding acceptance of the revised Terms.

SECTION 15. Copyright Policy & DMCA Notification

Renlit respects the intellectual property rights of others and strictly enforces a policy of removing infringing content. If you believe your copyright has been infringed, you must submit a formal notification to our Designated Agent.

a. Reporting Infringement (DMCA Notice): To be effective, the notification must be a written communication sent to legal@renlit.com that includes the following:
i. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
ii. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
iii. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed, with sufficient detail to permit us to locate the material (e.g., URL).
iv. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email.
v. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
vi. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
b. Repeat Infringers: It is Renlit's policy to terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.

SECTION 16. Definitions

16.4 Force Majeure Event: Any extraordinary, unavoidable cause or circumstance beyond the reasonable, direct control of Renlit Creationfest that wholly or partially impedes, prevents, or postpones the fulfillment of contractual obligations under these Terms. This includes acts of God, war, terrorism, natural disasters, utility failures, or widespread network outages caused by third parties.
